the first MARGINS Theoretical and Experimental Institute dealing with
the "Rheology and deformation of the lithosphere". In our opinion, it
was very successful. Rather than rest on our collective laurels, the convenors
would like constructive comment concerning the short course material and
venue in order help improve subsequent theoretical institutes. Your help
