MARGINS Theoretical Earth Institute: Rheolgy and Deformation of Lithosphere at Continental Margins, jan. 23-26, 2000, Snowbird, UT. Participated in short-course and attended workshop as proponent for Woodlark Basin as a MARGINS focus area (see above). Presented short talk and multiple posters.
ODP Leg 180 2^nd post-cruise meeting in Izmir, Turkey, April 23-29. 2000. Participated in round table discussions of leg results, gave informal presentations and multiple poster presentation.
MARGINS Theoretical and Experiment Institute: Inside the Subduction Factory, Eugene, OR, Aug. 20-25. Attended short-course and met with co-pi's about Mariana Subduction Factory project.
MARGINS Gulf of California/Salton Trough Workshop, 27-29 October, 2001, Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Presented a poster on heatflow results from the Woodlark Basin.
