Research
Interests
My research is aimed at understanding the stability of the West Antarctic
Ice Sheet and the rapidly-flowing ice streams that drain the interior of the
ice sheet. I use seismic techniques (identical to those used in the Petroleum
Exploration industry) to determine englacial and subglacial properties. In addition,
I use broadband (earthquake) seismic techniques to determine the deeper structure
of the Antarctic crust and mantle.
